Musicianaries just spent 2 ½ days speaking on the radio and answering the phones with Positive Life Radio who, once again, hosted the Rice for Cambodia campaign! The listeners blessed us during that time by pledging over 200 tons for us to distribute on our next mission outreach to Cambodia in July 2014. Due to the recent flooding that has severely affected Cambodia, we anticipate rice prices to rise in the months ahead from the current cost of $600 per ton. So we will be sending these funds there to purchase the rice at this better price and have it prepared for distribution when we arrive. Many thanks for your continued amazing response to bless these precious people. You are a true inspiration in your sacrificial giving each year. God bless you!
We are currently working with Positive Life Radio to select an artist for this upcoming Spring 2014 event and will have exact details as soon as possible.
We are looking forward this next exciting trip to the Dominican Republic to continue the Musicianaries’ ministry work there with Students International. For more information about the various available ministry sites there, please contact us at 561/882-1389 or rachelbobbymichaelscom .
We would love to have you be a part of our team during the month of July: Team 1 will join us July 7-18, 2014; Team 2 will join us July 21-August 1. Once again this year, our team will personally distribute 200 tons of rice during the month to villagers located all over the country. Last year the in-country costs were $1650 per person (that is double occupancy in rooms) for a two-week trip and we anticipate it being close to the same cost this year. That does not include the airfares which you would arrange independently. We will know exact expenses after the first of the year and the dates we would need your trip applications and payment dates. At these distributions, our team will hand out scriptures and literature, iodized salt, and school uniforms and supplies. We also have a Cambodian drama/music team that travels with us to perform “The Prodigal Son” at each village. This is especially meaningful to Cambodians because they totally understand hunger and poverty. This is typically the first time any of these villagers will see these professional portrayals of Biblical truths with full scenery, props, and costumes—all in their own native language! It is truly a gift from the Lord for our American team to witness these beautiful Cambodian faces glow with smiles reflecting hopeful futures and many changed hearts during these events. We see many follow Christ as a result of our ministry with them. Please prayerfully consider how the Lord would lead you to participate in this ministry with us. Thank you so much for your prayers and help in Musicianaries’ programs. For more information, please contact Musicianaries at 561/882-1389 or rachelbobbymichaelscom .
