The Lord had a special gift for our team yesterday. We journeyed through the morning and afternoon to our new destination. It was filled with His glorious treasure–a home/school of the blind and deaf. We were welcomed as if we were special, but quite the opposite was true. The blind were playing their musical instruments for us and the deaf performed their beautiful Khmer dance. We were blessed beyond words at their abilities and dedication. We all bonded in love and commitment. The facility had enough rice to feed them for another two months. We assured them of enough for the rest of the year–so far. The afternoon was spent playing and dancing together outside until it was time to journey back to our hotel. Our hearts have encompassed these precious lives permanently. We are already anticipating time with them again next year. We want to invite you to join us next year to see firsthand the treasures of this country!

What a joy to be back in Cambodia! After hours of travel today, our team arrived at our remote destination. A sea of beautiful faces and frail bodies were awaiting our arrival. They applauded with gratitude as we emerged from our vehicles, knowing that we deeply care about them and that they will be able to feed their families for another month. What they might not have expected is the other purpose of our being there: to share the life-changing love and cleansing that Christ offers them. We handed out gospel tracts to each individual and they immediately became immersed in the scriptures. This is the hopes and eternal truth that will last. They listened and watched intently as our drama team shared Christ’s redeeming love through the portrayal of the Prodigal Son story. Each one listening could relate to hunger and loss–some cried with keen emotion. But joy returned on their withered faces as the father and son restore love and commitment. Nearly 100 Cambodians chose to accept Christ today in response! Thank you for praying for clarity of understanding as the villagers embrace His loving plan for them.

Cambodia, Here We Come!

What a privilege to be joining our friends in Cambodia in just three days! Once again, we seek the Lord’s great favor and blessing in the many villages where we will spend most of our time, sharing His love and forgiveness, and distributing bags of rice for their families. Our Cambodian drama team will be with us the entire trip, presenting Bible stories through their drama and music. It is very touching to have many villagers come to know Christ during this time with them and to see new churches established as a result. Thank you for the important role you have in our ministry with your prayers, your encouragement, and gracious support! The Lord uses all of us together for His glory and purpose!
God bless you!

Shine Through Us

Lord, give us the desires of Your heart. Place Your will within us to follow in awe of You. Make a difference in this world and Your Kingdom by pouring out Your love, Your joy, and Your strength through us. We delight to be Your children, Your hands, Your heart.
1 Chronicles 29:11: Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the splendor and the majesty, for everything in the heavens and on earth belongs to You. Yours, Lord, is the kingdom, and You are exalted as head over all.

Honor and Praise to Him

May the Presence of Your Spirit, Lord, rest on Your children today to bring honor to Your Holy Name. Continue to draw the broken-hearted to the only One Who heals completely. Together we will lift up a song in praise to You. Be glorified!

His Beautiful Hands

Those beautiful Hands of the Lord: creating, reaching, lifting, holding, serving–then pierced. But death did not win. Those beautiful Hands are ours to hold every moment—it’s our choice–and Wisdom says, “Hold them for a lifetime.”
John 3:35, “The Father loves the Son and has given all things into His hands.”

His Abiding Compassion

No one but our loving God would have mercy on a perfect creation that chose disobedience.
No one but our patient Savior would lovingly become the Sacrifice of hatred and malice.
No one but the Holy Spirit would come within us to cleanse a ravished heart.
We bow before You with utmost thanksgiving and praise! Amazing compassion. Gift of eternity.

Ephesians 2:4-5 “But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love that He had for us, made us alive with the Messiah even though we were dead in trespasses. You are saved by grace!”

His Perfect Love to Us

How glorious are Your works, O Lord! We all seem such unlikely candidates for Your love and affection, yet You call us Your chosen ones! You patiently and faithfully show us the wonders of Your love and forgiveness. Thank You for answering our prayers by drawing even more of our family and friends to Yourself that they may know You intimately. You change the direction of our lives so lovingly. Serving You is a taste of eternity as we feel the joy of hearts trusting You and leaving worldly ways behind!

Revelation 5:12, “The Lamb who was slain is worthy to receive all power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing!

Thanking the Lord today for every moment we shared. He began composing a beautiful melody when we met 25 years ago, bringing our lives together in rich harmony.
I still hear the music. Love you, my Bobby.

Seeing the Inner Man

May I look for the Lord’s beauty in others regardless of their outer “shell” and love them with joy. May they find value and riches through His love and Presence in their lives, not in their circumstances.
1 Samuel 16:7, “Man does not see what the Lord sees, for man sees what is visible, but the Lord sees the heart.”
