Unmerited Favor and Opportunity is Mine

One of the treasures that I love about immersing myself in third world countries is the teaching I always receive from my Lord’s Presence. In deepest poverty, He still shows Himself faithful. In unthinkable surroundings He walks about with continual reminders that He still understands all human frailty and need. In few possessions, He still gives abundant mercies. In deepest need, He can still offer unspeakable peace to those He is holding so tightly. In disease and lack, people will stop and listen to receive His forgiving mercy. I have been given unspeakable wealth in this lifetime with the innumerable opportunities the Lord has given me to plunge headfirst into this understanding of unmerited grace.
Isaiah 55:8, “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord.
