Precious in His sight

As we travel through Cambodia this year, the absence of teenage girls is evident.  We see little girls; we see older women.  Where are the teenage girls?  It is a sad story we are told by our host, Pastor Setan Lee.  Old men–some 70 years old–from neighboring countries, come in and pay destitute families for their young teenage daughters.  Then they return to their country with their frightened new “possession” who will now become the object of unthinkable abuse, servanthood, and tragedy.  The desperation of poverty does not dissolve easily.  Only the mighty power of our Lord Jesus Christ can reverse these heartbreaking conditions.  Please continue to pray for changed hearts, changed lives, and wise choices in this nation.
